The Heavy Duty Wheelchair Tubes available at Sportaid employ Kenda's Puncture Resistant Hi-Pressure technology to stay tough on the Court and for Everyday Use. The Heavy Duty comes from increasing the thickness 2.5 times over standard tubes to 2.25mm. Kenda Puncture Resistant Hi-Pressure Tubes have Schrader valves and come in 25" x 1" (20/23/25-559).

I use the heavy duty tube for my wheels and tires around the house. We live in a rural area and sidewalks are not very common out here. I like the set up I use the tire, tube and wheel for off the sidewalk use and to work around the house.

Advantages: Its a tougher tube that is more thorn resistant which suits my needs off the sidewalk. Just a common sense move that saves time and effort patching tubes..

Disadvantages: Its not a super High pressure tube. My set up is perfectly suitable for pushing on sidewalks or around a mall for short times but if you spend most of your time inside or on sidewalks you would definitely rather have a 110psi tube.....
