Good comfortable wheelchair back. Great 2 point pro mounting hardware! Good cover.

Advantages: Lots of adjustment, solid construction.
I imagine the cutouts in the aluminium back will help with ventilation.

Disadvantages: None yet.

After more than 40 years and advice from a PT, I decided to try a solid back. After some comparison shopping, I decided on the ADI short, standard aluminum model. I installed it easily myself after acquiring the two necessary metric tools. So far, I'm happy with the back, and the PT was right; I have better support and posture, and overall I'm more comfortable.

Advantages: Good back and lateral support, easy installation, less expensive than other makes.

Disadvantages: Does add a little weight to the chair, which I do notice when loading into my car. Still pricey. Not fond of the curved top.

Quickie 2 Folding Wheelchair

I have been using a wheelchair since 1979, during that time I have owned a number of wheelchairs, manual, power as well as handbikes. My current Quickie 2 was almost 20 years old, I am very active, this chair held up very well..but it was time for a new chair. After looking around I decided on another Quickie 2, it's lightweight, foldable and compact, making it easy for me to load up in my car on my own. Sportaid (Gwen) made sure every detail was taken care of and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
