Trionic Veloped Trek Walker

Price is not the only thing that matters when it comes to buying the Trionic Veloped Trek Walker, live customer service is priceless!

The Trionic Veloped Trek Walker ™ is the new, and among the most groundbreaking, rollator that takes active users further than ever expected. Hitting the great outdoors is more available than before, and physical activity is double what it used to be. The competition can't hold wheel to the Trionic Veloped Trek Walker in the city, on the hiking trail, the golf course, in the park and around the summer house. The Trionic Veloped Trek Walker's unique design puts a great deal of focus on walking and promotes activity and quality of life. The Trionic Walker ™ is designed with a great focus on walking. A patented climbing wheel, 3-wheel design and air-filled tires work in unison for a totally new walking experience. It climbs curbs and other obstacles with ease and turns cobbles, gravel, grass, snow and off-road trails into pure pleasure instead of a bumpy and unpleasant venture. The height can of course be adjusted to suit users of different sizes. To make transport easy, the walker can be folded together and also partly dismounted. A hub brake with motion and parking brake functions delivers increased safety and causes minimal tire wear. Trionic Walker ™ has an ergonomic grip bar that offers several grip positions, and while seated it acts as a back support. Walking space can be increased by sliding the seat forward, and in combination with the shape of the grip bar the tendency to walk with a more upright posture increases.
Trionic Walker™ is tested and approved according to ISO 11199-2:2005.

Climbing Wheel

Trionic Walker is equipped with Trionic Climbing wheel (patent pending) that greatly increases the ability to overcome different kinds of obstacles. By spreading the load over two wheels, slightly displaced lengthwise, the climbing sequence is divided into two steps. The climbing capacity is furthermore enhanced through an angled link arm that uses the pushing force provided by the user. This gives the wheel a unique feature, the capacity to climb a 5 inch high curb. When climbing a 1.5 inch high obstacle, the amount of force needed is only 1/8 of the force that a single wheel of an equal diameter requires. The moving link arm also provides a suspending function. On uneven ground it constantly suspends the ride. The suspension turns the outdoor walk into pure pleasure.

Terrain or city use

The wheel can be dually adjusted according to environment and terrain. For easy turning and manoeuvring use city-mode, where the front wheel is lifted, with retained climbing capacity. In terrain-mode the wheel provides suspension, climbing capacity and increased direction stability, perfect for a hike or workout.

I love my Trionic Trek. I took a trip in April and I was able to carry my luggage on the Trek. It was great for walking thru the Atlanta airport. When I got tired, I elevated my handle bars, leaned on them and continued walking. It was great in Florida where I went to Disney World.
The big tires made for a smoother ride VS riding in a wheelchair or on a golf cart used by airports. I always set my flights up for a 3 hour or more delay between flights as this allowed me time to walk and sit on my Trek when I needed a break. I had double foot surgery and this is truely such a great assist for me.

Advantages: Great on trails. I equipped my Trek with 800 Lumin lights- USB Leyzne rechargable and a set of Cat Eye AA battery bike lights in case the main lamp looses its charge. Same with tail lights too. Plus I mounted side lamps- white and Red on for additional lighting if needed.
Basket- fits my eagle creek carry on luggage in addition to my pillow and my hand bag
Brakes are great - especially for descending on trails and wet pavement.
The basket bag and seat bag are great for day sightseeing.
Seat is nice too. Wish it was lower to the ground as I’m short.

Disadvantages: Would like to see a smaller frame as I’m only 5’3”. I struggle to get on my seat. You need a easier way to fold the unit for travel, plus a securement strap. I use Velcro but for the money spent, it should be standard on the unit. Make a loud air horn available as people do hike in gear country. I do carry on in the basket.
A mount for a open umbrella to protect sun sensitive uses would be nice, too. The space between the seat needs to be wider for obese users. I’m cramped between the frame when sitting on the seat do to the narrow space between the handles. Other then these issues, I love my Trionic Trek a lot. Only wish I can push it closed down train isles.

This customer purchased the item at our site.
I have had this walker for around a year and have used it in many places and can honestly say I really like this walker! It has allowed me to hike some trails again which I thought were no longer possible and also do things which I thought I would never do again like walking along the beach with my family. While it might be a little expensive the additional freedom which it has given me is invaluable.

Advantages: It is very stable, easy to take apart and has great storage.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage which I have found is that it is pretty wide which is needed for the stability but that makes it hard to go on some narrow trails.
