Spinergy's Lite Extreme LX X-Laced is designed for maximum torsional stiffness and responsiveness. The hybrid radial/x-laced pattern produces "wind up" when pushing, transferring or using wheels locks while maintaining optimal lateral stiffness. Like the LX wheels, there is plety of spce between the spokes for great reach-through access underneath your chair. The hub and spoke pattern look fantastic and deliver what they promise.

Rim Specifications: Lightweight aluminum, double-walled rim. Flexrim compatible. Rivnut handrim mounting system compatible. Available sizes: 24" and 25". Weight 658g/wheel.

Been using for 2 years now, and still love them. Very light weight, yet strong. The flexrim handgrip works very well even in wet conditions and with gloves.

Advantages: Lightweight, flexrim.

Disadvantages: Cost.

Just arrived today! Love the look of the hub + I got green spokes. Flexrims are the best wheels I've ever used for pushing (SCI 49yrs) the last pair lasted 7 years hope to get a few more years with these...

Advantages: Make pushing so much easier... more bang for your buck!

Disadvantages: The wear on the flex rubber, altho my new pair seem to have a slightly different profile so here's hoping that they are more enduring.

Quickie 2 Folding Wheelchair

I have been using a wheelchair since 1979, during that time I have owned a number of wheelchairs, manual, power as well as handbikes. My current Quickie 2 was almost 20 years old, I am very active, this chair held up very well..but it was time for a new chair. After looking around I decided on another Quickie 2, it's lightweight, foldable and compact, making it easy for me to load up in my car on my own. Sportaid (Gwen) made sure every detail was taken care of and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
