Excellent tires and much easier to "roll" on the rims (1-3/8" width). Tires arrived in a timely manner and were delivered as expected. Recommend spending a little extra to have the tires shipped flat (unfolded) to avoid deforming the tires.

Advantages: Adds a little tasteful color to your rims. 1-3/8" width is easier to put on (versus the 1" width). Bead jacks make the mounting process more likely to avoid pinching the inner tubes.

Disadvantages: No disadvantages.

Wheelchairs with black tires? Schwalbe has made it possible. We developed a special Black’n Roll compound that does not leave unsightly marks on indoor floors. Additionally it is far more robust and much longer lasting.

Level 3 K-Guard

Our minimum standard for protection belts. This Guard has been proven for many years. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with KEVLAR® fibres. Together with the 50 EPI carcass all Active Line tires are well protected against punctures. KEVLAR® is a trademark of DuPont.

Active Line

The basis for all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI casing material. SCHWALBE no longer produces tires with a coarse 20 or 24 EPI casing material. In addition, K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for Active Line tires.

Quickie 2 Folding Wheelchair

I have been using a wheelchair since 1979, during that time I have owned a number of wheelchairs, manual, power as well as handbikes. My current Quickie 2 was almost 20 years old, I am very active, this chair held up very well..but it was time for a new chair. After looking around I decided on another Quickie 2, it's lightweight, foldable and compact, making it easy for me to load up in my car on my own. Sportaid (Gwen) made sure every detail was taken care of and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
