Smoothest ride I've had in years. I wish I had these on my chair back in college when I used to take to the roads late at night. Good, solid construction. Worth the money. And I really like that they only light up when you're in motion.
Advantages: A great way to be seen if you travel at night a lot. And if you're self-conscious about people staring at you because of the wheelchair NOW it will be because of these awesome wheels.
Disadvantages: They have no OFF switch, so you might feel uncomfortable at a funeral, (but, really, who feels comfortable at a funeral?)

These are fun, well-made casters. It's hard to tell from the photo and description, but these are Volcanic brand with red, green, blue, and white LED lights. As you go faster they blend together to make orange, purple and pink. They are thinner than soft roll casters, so the ride isn't as smooth, but they are also half the price.
Advantages: -fairly bright at night, giving you more visibility on the street
-smooth roll on solid surfaces
-affordably-priced
-super fun!
Disadvantages: -not as smooth on rough surfaces as soft roll casters
-no ability to turn off, you will light up all the time

Beautiful LED caster wheels! I had a little problem with installation, one wheel would not light up when installed. The Customer Service rep suggested I squeeze the bearings to make it work. That did the trick! I inserted a washer between the caster fork and the spacer on the axle and the caster lit up. Apparently the LED power generator is positioned between the two inner bearing rings. The bearing needs to be compressed in order to make the LED lights work.

Advantages: Easy to install, delivery was quick.
Disadvantages: Could be a little bigger.
